Our Project Linus is a non-profit organization that provides homemade
blankets to children in need. Our blankets are lovingly made by adults and
children from all walks of life. We provide blankets to SOMC pediatrics, Domestic
Violence, CRADLE, Area schools, Homeless shelter, and We gave out 515 blankets in 2015 alone. |
Our Meeting Schedule If you would like to take part in this worthwhile
endeavor to provide children in need with comforting blankets, come join us
in making blankets. You don't need to be skilled at sewing, all you need
is a heart felt desire to share your time.
If you can hold a pair of scissors, or fold a blanket, we can use your
help! We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of every
month from |

It is a pleasure to be able to give you this update
concerning Project Linus. All of you Blanketeers
have been hard at work this past year.
As of January 2017, we have been able to give the children of our area
(and some to other parts of the nation) 9,424 blankets to be comforted,
loved, and hugged since 2003. That is
an amazing feat!! We are looking for
that 10,000th blanket really soon; and with your help, we will make it!! Latest Update: From January
through March. 2017: 181 blankets were
given out New Total since 2003: 9,605. Thanks to all who attended. Thanks to the church for
their support and thanks to Darrell Cable for all his help and support,
including providing a great meal for the troops! We are looking forward to another great year! |
